Saratoga Springs Recreation Department Announces New Skate Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony The City of Saratoga Springs Recreation Department invites you to join us Thursday, July 20th at 12pm for the official ribbon cutting of its brand-new modern, poured-in-place concrete park at East Side Rec. Skateboard enthusiasts are invited to come for a first roll across the ribbon. The Saratoga Springs Skate Park was the first municipal skate park in NY State originally built in 1989. A grander celebration "Skate Jam" to celebrate the new park, hosted by OnDeck Saratoga, will be held this fall with more information coming soon.
